Sir John Wilson School

Sir John Wilson School needed a unified identity that could work across communication, campus navigation, and the everyday student experience. I redesigned the school identity and developed its application across stationery, uniforms, signage, wayfinding, environmental graphics, and interactive playscapes.

Role: Brand, Spatial & Experience Designer
Focus: Brand Identity, Wayfinding, Environmental Graphics, Playscape Design

The existing identity was based on a traditional shield with a bird emblem.
I redesigned to free the bird from its rigid boundary, transforming it into a more open symbol of growth, curiosity, and aspiration.

This shift introduced a more optimistic visual language—reflecting exploration, energy, and a forward-looking learning environment.

I translated the identity into a colour-coded wayfinding system that gives each floor a distinct character and makes navigation clearer. Indoor and outdoor playscapes extended the system beyond signage, bringing movement, play, and discovery into the physical environment.

Indoor and outdoor playscapes were integrated into the environment, ensuring the experience moves beyond visual identity into interactive and engaging spatial interventions.
