Polka Dates

Polka Dates reimagines the calendar as a flexible creative tool, merging sketching and timekeeping into a single system.
Inspired by the playful language of polka dots, the design consists of six modular sketchbooks, each representing two months.

Dates are subtly embedded within the pages, allowing artists to move between planning and drawing without interruption.
The covers form a dynamic composition when viewed independently, and align with a perforated outer case to act as a desk calendar.

The system is designed to evolve over time—new sketchbooks can be introduced each year while the case remains, extending the lifecycle of the product.
