Nirvana :
A self-contained circular board game that reimagines Ludo and Snakes and Ladders

Nirvana began with a simple question: could two familiar board games become a more compact, tactile, and visually distinctive product without losing their familiar gameplay?

I redesigned Ludo and Snakes and Ladders around a circular format and brought both games together within one self-contained product. I developed the product concept, playing surfaces, visual system, illustrations, component organization, and packaging.

I carried the project from early concepts and prototypes through artwork preparation and production coordination.

Role

Scope
Product Concept · Game Design · Illustration
Packaging Design · Prototyping · Print Production

Production
Four-colour printing on paperboard · Lamination · Spot logo lamination
Wooden CNC cut handpainted pieces · sticker lock · 1,000 units

The circular form became more than a visual feature. It created the identity of the product, organized the gameplay, and allowed the board and loose components to be stored together as one complete object. The graphics were designed to make each game easy to understand while giving the product a distinctive presence on a shelf or tabletop.
