A publication documenting music, memory, and collective energy
Joy Bangla Concert brings contemporary Bangladeshi bands together to commemorate Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s historic 7 March speech. The publication captures the event through performance photography, song lyrics, and moments from the concert.
I developed the editorial concept, content hierarchy, format system, typography, image treatments, page layouts, cover, and print-ready artwork.

Different rhythms, one publication
A concert moves between different bands, sounds, and emotional intensities. I wanted the publication to create a similar sense of movement.
Instead of placing everything within one uniform page format, I organized the content into differently sized signatures. Each section follows its own visual rhythm, using changes in scale, colour, photography, and typography to reflect the character of the featured performance.
As readers move through the book, the changing page sizes alter its pace and reveal glimpses of the sections ahead. The varied parts remain contained beneath one cover, mirroring how Joy Bangla Concert brings many forms of energy together within one shared event.
