Sir John Wilson School
Sir John Wilson School was reimagined through a comprehensive redesign of both its identity and overall experience.
The project aimed to transform the school into a more engaging, creative, and system-driven environment—one that reflects its values while improving clarity across everyday interactions.
Spanning identity, communication, wayfinding, and spatial elements, the intervention focused on creating a cohesive system that connects students, spaces, and activities into a unified experience.
Role — Experience & Spatial Designer
Focus — Identity System, Wayfinding, Environmental Design
The existing identity was based on a traditional shield with a bird emblem.
The redesign freed the bird from its rigid boundary, transforming it into a more open symbol of growth, curiosity, and aspiration.
This shift introduced a more optimistic visual language—reflecting exploration, energy, and a forward-looking learning environment.
A comprehensive and adaptive wayfinding system was designed throughout the school, using distinct color coding for each floor. A soft pastel palette was chosen to reflect a youthful and welcoming atmosphere.
Indoor and outdoor playscapes were integrated into the environment, ensuring the experience moves beyond visual identity into interactive and engaging spatial interventions.
