Nirvana :
Ludo + Snakes and Ladder reimagined
Nirvana reinterprets Ludo and Snakes & Ladders through folklore, form, and material. Drawing from the strong presence of these games in Bangladeshi households, the project takes inspiration from Bengali stories of the jeweled snake—an image tied to myth, greed, and pursuit—and translates that spirit into the game’s concept.

The traditional board is transformed into a circular spiral composition, shifting both the visual language and the familiar rhythm of play. Bengali-style artwork, locally resonant colors, handcrafted paper surfaces, and wooden pieces make the experience tactile and intimate, while the self-contained origami box creates a dramatic opening moment that sparks anticipation from the very first reveal.
